Much of South India suffers from Chickungunya during and after the rainy season. Still the central and state governments & Health Departments are yet to implement the Mosquito control measures. Every day thousands of people are falling disabled with the severe pain of "Chicken Gunya".

We are on our own in preventing this dreadful disease infecting us. At least the knowledge of how this incurable (at this time, yes) viral disease can be prevented is a big help. There are lot of opinions on Chickungunya on the net, but many of them are yet to be confirmed. Homeopathy claims to have some remedy for chicken gunya if detected earlier. Chikungunya is a viral disease transmitted through mosquito bites. It is usually seen in tropical areas.

2. Who can get infected with Chikungunya?

3. What are the symptoms of Chikungunya?

Main symptoms are high fever and joint pains. Joint pains can persist even long after recovery from the disease.

4. After infection, how soon I will see symptoms?

9. What is the impact of Chikungunya infection during pregnancy?

Pregnant woman can get Chikungunya infection at any stage of pregnancy. The chances of passing the infection to fetus is very less. If the pregnant woman is infected at the time of delivery, the virus can be transmitted to the new born child. If a new born is infected the risk is considerably higher. So it is important to ensure that in Chikungunya areas pregnant woman is protected from mosquito bite.

Malgudi Days is a collection of short stories by R.K.Narayan that focused on the trial and tribulations of a small Indian town of Malgudi. According to R.K. Narayan, Malgudi is a town "habited by timeless characters who could be living anywhere in the world" and is located on the banks of river Sarayu and surrounded by the Mempi Hills. As an attempt to popularize television, the Government of India undertook several steps to popularize the already powerful medium.

The 1970s and 1980s saw a boom in television programming as the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting invited independent producers and directors to shoot television serials on a regular basis; Malgudi Days was one such television serial. The serial was directed by the late Kannada actor and director, Shankar Nag, and was shot entirely near Agumbe in Shimoga District, Karnataka.

The story's theme is relevant in the context of the increasing incidence of sex exploitation of women in general and at workplaces in particular. Director Dhorai has narrated the story with three episodes featuring young Bharat in as many different characters. At its core is the revenge and as with most films in this genre, the protagonist goes on the murderous rampage with the police on the trail.
